The secret begins with your listings on BizBuySell and how the listing title is written. If you were a buyer seeking a certain type of business, what would you search? This part is critical. You must end your listing title with “business for sale”.
As an example, you might have a current listing with a title that reads “Great Manufacturing Company with great cash flow”
• Change it to “Successful Profitable Manufacturing Business For Sale”. You do not need it reflect the area because it is already listed on BizBuySell in the area of the business. Buyers are going to be searching in an area using “manufacturing business for sale” as a search on Google. Google uses BizBuySell links first when searches are done for businesses for sale. So, once you change the title (and description below) your individual listing will appear above static and paid links.
As for the description, use the title at least twice in the listing description once at the beginning and the other at the end - as an example…
• “This highly successful manufacturing business for sale was established over 20 years ago and has a highly diverse client base.” – then write the base of the description – then end with “contact us now for more information on this successful manufacturing business for sale”.
That’s it. It is that simple.
